Mio is a very proud and even more butthurt whitetail deer that was filmed at the Brownville's Food Pantry For Deer, he was first sighted in 2022.
His name is the Italian for "mine", as he's seen angrily bonking the trough whenever anyone else tries eating from it, and sometimes straight up attacking other deer just for getting too close to what he deems his property. As we later found out, the entire universe is in fact his property.
We immediately fell in love with this cutie, he is living proof that deer not only have feelings, but individual personalities. We have seen a ton of deer, but none behaved quite like him:
His ears are constantly lowered, this means a deer is upset. Mio's ears are lower than we've ever seen and stay like this for the entire video, and probably were like this for quite some time before and after, when usually they get back to normal after a little bit
He's aggressive to literally everyone approaching him, when usually a deer might be aggressive towards specific other deer
For deer pantry standards he stays at the trough eating by himself for a long time, making sure nobody steals his corn when there's clearly plenty for everyone. He is one greedy boy, and he's probably angry eating like all of us do sometimes. I know you do too, don't lie
After threatening and scaring away other bleaters who wanted a little snac Mio is seen staring into the distance several times, ears as low as they can possibly be, looking regretful like someone with BPD after an outburst

All these unique traits have made Mio our very favorite two-toed ungulate on Earth, and one of our favorite animals ever. Every year when the pantry opens and the camera are turned on we monitor them almost daily in the hope of seeing him again. As you'll see later we might have caught him once or twice.
With his personality Mio makes for a perfect prophet and chosen one for the religion of the Cosmic Deer, so we put him in charge of all the deer of the planet and in direct contact with the Deer Gods. He also works as game director for Payday 3 in his spare time.
